Enjoy Mead “by the glass” Dec 1-3 Mead Up

 In Meadup

Our final Mead Up event for 2017 is taking place December 1-3 which coincides with Williamsburg’s Grand Illumination. Enjoy the largest selection of Silver Hand Meads that we’ve ever had available. This includes all seven of our regular lineup plus our limited edition Coffee and Ginger meads. Plus enjoy an extra Grand Illumination Weekend discount on our seasonal Dream by the Fire which features apple cider, cinnamon, vanilla, allspice, and cloves.

We’re excited to welcome back our friends from the Route 5 Ramblers who will be joining us for a post fireworks celebration Sunday night. You may even see our owner, Glenn, jump in and play bass with them. On Sunday afternoon we’re excited to have the Kings of Ukulele join us for the first time. Yes, the Kings of Ukulele! Check them out here.

Jordan Ponzi and Russ Hanchin will perform beautiful jazz throughout Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening you’ll get to hear local artist/singer/songwriter and friend of Silver Hand Meadery, Andrew Ballantyne.

Sat, Dec 2 – 12:00 – 8:00
Sun, Dec 3 –  1:00 – 10:00

What is Mead Up?
Mead Up is an event we host a few times a year where we have the opportunity to do things a little differently. Typically we are only allowed to offer samples of our mead but a few times a year we are able to obtain a license that allows for onsite consumption. At Mead Up we sell flights of mead and mead by the glass and we bring in some great live music. We hope you’ll join us! Festivities begin on Friday and carry through till 10pm on Sunday.
